Jenny King - Producer The Crucible is one of three plays that producer Jenny King will work on with director Jonathan Church. For this production, she worked closely with him from the start and, since the play was funded by the Arts Council of England and she didn’t have to spend most of her time finding funding bodies, had a lot of creative input. During pre-production, Jenny went on a trip to Salem, Massachusetts (where The Crucible is set) with photographer Andy Philips to do background research. Managing the budget was also a challenging part of this job since she was responsible for fitting in all the different expenses such as costumes, props and salaries. |  | |
