Melly Still: Portraying the bird

Duration: 1 minute 51 seconds

When the bones of the boy are placed under the juniper tree, a bird representing the soul of the boy rises up from smoke around the tree. Director Melly Still tells us that she decides to make the bird from metallic kitchen instruments, and to have it wear the boy's red shirt.
