Duration: 2 minutes 49 seconds Director and designer Melly Still tells us about the process of selecting stories for Beasts and Beauties . She started out reading lots of fairy tales and along with co-adaptor Tim Supple, narrowed them down to eight stories that fit together very naturally. Poet Carol Ann Duffy retold the stories, and then Melly and Tim created a dramatized version.
