How The Bird Was Made

Bill Talbot: How the bird was made

Duration: 2 minutes 6 seconds

In 'The Juniper Tree', the bird is designed from ordinary household kitchen utensils, bringing to mind the kitchen where the unfortunate child was dismembered. Head of Props, Bill Talbot, talks about finding the parts to make the bird. He uses a corkscrew to make the bird's wings flap, and other implements like a fork and an egg whisk to give it a unique quality.
