Melly Still: Planning the design

Duration: 3 minutes 2 seconds

Director and designer Melly Still talks about how she can't think about design without linking it to staging and directing. She usually starts off with lots of ideas that are then stripped down. When she designs the costumes, she tries to keep it simple and thinks about what's practical and suggestive for each story and the country and time period where that story is set.
