Melly Still: Portraying the Beast character

Director and designer Melly Still talks about how she wanted to portray the Beast character in 'Beauty and the Beast'. She sees the character as very primal and aimed to strip away layers of humanness. This is reflected in his uncivilised appearance complete with long nails, hair gel on his body and a bandit-like stocking over his head.
