Melly Still: Choosing fairy tales

Director and designer Melly Still tells us about the process of selecting stories for Beasts and Beauties. She started out reading lots of fairy tales and along with co-adaptor Tim Supple, narrowed them down to eight stories that fit together very naturally. Poet Carol Ann Duffy retold the stories, and then Melly and Tim created a dramatized version.
