Director Jonathan Church talks about casting the roles of Goody Proctor and Abigail. He went straight to Patricia Kerrigan to play Goody Proctor, since he thought she would work well with Malcolm Storry who was playing John Proctor. Jonathan discovered Leah Muller, who plays Abigail, during the auditions, and was convinced by her powerful portrayal of Abigail’s relationship with John Proctor.
