Bethan Cecil: Playing sleeping Betty

Bethan Cecil says that it’s challenging to play Betty while she’s sleeping, or pretending to be sleeping, in Act 1. Since Betty doesn’t have many lines, Bethan has to work out how much Betty can hear of what is going on around her to determine how she reacts when she wakes up.
