Producer Jenny King says that for her job, she must be confident in her own judgment and have a point of view that she is willing to fight for since she often has the final word. On The Crucible, she has a creative role and works closely with director Jonathan Church, but on other productions, her role can be essentially raising money and controlling the marketing and publicity.
