Actor Leah Muller, who plays Abigail in The Crucible, says that her character doesn’t start out with evil intentions, but that the events that take place are a result of things getting out of hand. She is a 17-year-old girl living in a very repressive society, and may be a bit modern for her time; over the course of the play she gets scared and trapped.
