Michelle Tate: Mercy Lewis' journey

Actor Michelle Tate says that Mercy Lewis’ fear grows over the course of the play. All the talk of witchcraft doesn’t initially scare her, since she lives with the Putnams who often talk about it, but she begins to take it more seriously later on, especially in Act 3 when so many people are condemned.
