Bethan Cecil: Role of Betty Parris

Actor Bethan Cecil says that her character, Betty Parris, is very young and very naive and that the other girls have scared her into believing in witchcraft. Throughout the play, there is the question of whether or not witchcraft is real, but for Betty to go into her comatose state, she must believe in it, otherwise she wouldn’t let herself get that worked up.
