Pip Donaghy: Different facets of Reverend Parris’ character

Actor Pip Donaghy, who plays Reverend Parris, says that from the outside, Parris is not a likeable character and is hopeless at running the parish. However, he does have good intentions, and wants to do a good job. As an actor, Pip feels he must identify with him and be sympathetic to his plight.
