The fight between Lord Talbot and Joan of Arc

Conrad Nelson, composer of the music used in The Wars of the Roses explains how he uses music in Henry VI to point up the physical contrast between the slight figure of Joan of Arc and the looming presence of John Talbot, the English hero. Their encounter is a musical as well as a physical battle.
