Between two clergymen

Actor Conrad Nelson talks about what motivates Richard to set up the elaborate scene in which, in order to deceive the citizens of London and their Mayor, Richard appears before them, standing between two clergymen. Richard wants to manipulate public opinion and to convince people of his piety because without a display of public support he cannot become their King.
