The Mayor's own reasons for wanting order

Actor Dicken Ashworth explains what he sees as the Mayor’s motivation for wanting Richard as his King. He is totally deceived by Richard and Buckingham’s play-acting, and having recently seen the severed head of Lord Hastings, he is a frightened man.
