The wooing scene (Act 1 Scene 3 - Part 3)

Maeve Larkin (Lady Anne), Conrad Nelson (Richard), Barrie Rutter (attendant), Phil Corbitt (attendant), and Andy Whitehead (corpse of Henry VI) rehearse the wooing scene. Lady Anne is accompanying the body of her father-in-law, Henry VI, to burial at Chertsey monastery and pauses to lament his death. Before the procession can resume it is stopped by Richard, Duke of Gloucester, who then proceeds, despite all the odds, to seduce Anne to a point where she is at least ready to consider him, the self-confessed murderer of her father-in-law and her husband, as her future husband.
