Anna Maxwell Martin (Anna is playing Irina in Three Sisters at the National while rehearsals begin for His Dark Materials). It’s nearly half past twelve. I’ve just got home after two shows of Three Sisters matinee and evening tonight. But rehearsing His Dark Materials this morning; which was a good rehearsal. It was nice to do just a scene between Lyra and Will and it’s funny to do those sort of just two handers, because a lot of it is about animals and puppets and at the moment we are just trying to make sense of it all and put it all together all of these extravagant ideas. So it was nice to do just a scene today with two people having a chat really. Very weird to go from that to Three Sisters - very intense work and that sort soon got back into the swing of it and enjoyed it a lot. Very tired, so not making much sense. So OK. |
